Certification in CranioSacral Therapy is a challenge to achieve. Many therapists claim to be qualified to perform CranioSacral therapy, but very few go the extra mile and get their certification. Some therapists have had only a few hours of training when they start to use the term and apply it to their work. Even the teachers in Massage Schools don't have adequate qualification to do the work, let alone teach it. The certification process is valuable because it allows the therapist and the patient to have absolute confidence that the techniques are being performed correctly. Check out the status of your therapist. Ask them how many hours of training they have received in each technique. If they are well trained they will be only too delighted to fill you in.
